Our Beliefs
WE BELIEVE…
At Soul Saving Ministry Church, we base all of our beliefs on the authority of God’s word. In every way, we strive to maintain Biblical standards of living and leadership. We believe in Jesus Christ's future return and the understanding that salvation is a gift received through faith in Christ, not through good works.
We believe that living life according to God's Word leads to a life filled with abundance and fulfillment.
THE BIBLE
We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God and without error. The Bible is the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.
THE TRINITY
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father is the Creator of the world and is actively involved in humanity. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world. We believe that the Holy Spirit is continuing the work of Jesus upon the earth. See Matthew 28:19.
SALVATION
We believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sin. We believe that salvation is only found by placing our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
WATER BAPTISM
We believe that water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. See 1 Peter 3:21.
COMMUNION
We believe in the regularly receiving of Communion as an act of remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for us through dying on the cross. See 1 Corinthians 11:24-25.
SPIRITUAL CONNECTION WITH GOD
We believe that every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God's Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.
